Linear Glass Scriber GC1D-16

LC Technologies’ glass scriber provides a low cost alternative to the large automated scribers used in industry. It uses the same carbide wheel technology to give high quality edges and excellent reproducibility. Various glass types and thicknesses can be accommodated; optimal results are obtained for soda-lime and alkali-free glass types in thicknesses from 0.5 – 2.0mm, but both thinner and thicker glass can be handled with appropriate wheel choice and pressure setting.

* Precision linear bearing for smooth chatter-free scribing
* Cutter wheel casters for accurate tracking
* Scales at both edges of cutting area
* 1/2” cutter head vertical travel (pneumatic control)
* Accomodates glass sheet widths of up to 16” (GCD16).
* Resilient mat cutting surface
* Pneumatics can be mounted to accomodate left/right handed operation
* Air regulator/filter/gauge assembly allows easy scribe pressure adjustment
